Detroit Michigan Senior Photographer
Rileigh : Class of 2013
I am SO PUMPED to be sharing Rileigh’s incredible senior session! What an amazingly beautiful girl she is, inside and out! She’s a big sister, an incredible dancer, a water baby, an animal lover, and she is wise WAY beyond her years. I wanted to incorporate as much of who she is into her session as I could and I have to say, we had a BLAST!
As we headed to downtown Lake Orion, I spotted an open lot on the side of the road with stacks of pallets and gorgous sunlight beaming in. I screamed “OH EM GEEE!!, did you see that?!”. Her mom pulled a U-turn and our shoot started off with a bang. In true RSP fashion, it is not unlike me to pull over when I see a random spot of awesomeness and know that it will be magic. My clients are the coolest and usually don’t even question my madness.
Here is the stunning Miss Rileigh 😉
Ugh… Like really??? Look at these smoldering bright blue eyes. Crazytown.
When we got downtown, the light was perfect and we found some brand new spots that I hadn’t shot at before. I barely had to direct this girl, she just fell perfectly and naturally into the perfect poses. Man did she make my job easy.
My eyes lit up when Rileigh told me she brought her tutu for her shoot. I love a dancer in a tutu, SIGH! While her mom ran to the car to grab her ballet slippers, we decided it was a good time to just dance in the middle of the street barefoot. Of course they turned out to be some of my favorite images.
While she was lacing up her slippers, the wind got ahold of her tutu and we all started laughing. Rileigh’s mom looked at me and said “um, that’s adorable.” I couldn’t help but keep snapping away. I love her giggle!
Just perfection.
Rileigh has grown up on William’s Lake pretty much her entire life. Her heart is here and you’ll find her and her family on the water all summer long tubing, riding jet skis, and wakeboarding. I loved that we made it back just in time to grab some moody light and photograph on her own dock in their little slice of heaven.
We couldn’t end the shoot without bringing her puppy into the mix! Denali is their adorable golden retriever and she’s a relatively new addition to the family. She’s trouble, but with that face who couldn’t love every bit of her.
However, she wasn’t really interested in taking pictures… all she wanted to do was go down the slide and swim… Despite our best efforts to get her to stay, she just couldn’t muster up the self control. Whoops!
Rileigh my dear, you are one of a kind. You are going to great places and I feel lucky to have been able to capture your spirit in your photographs. I hope you have a killer senior year!
