The MEN
.
Every wedding that I had the honor of shooting this past year of course came with some pretty awesome, and may I say,
good looking grooms and their groomsmen. During every wedding, the time comes to capture photographs of the guys
and it’s always a different adventure. Each groom is totally different and in turn they come with their own set of groomsmen
who each have a unique personality of their own. There is always the goofy one, the shy one, the one that really
“isn’t into this whole photo thing”, there’s always the ham who loves the camera.. etc. So, I have to say,
I have really come to love that part of the day where I have to prepare myself for spending that time with all the guys.
I never know what I am getting myself into and I always have a great time.
So here are a few of my favorite shots of all of the stud muffins I was lucky enough to shoot in 2011.

…. but SORRY ladies, the grooms are taken 😉

I had so much fun photographing this Kansas City wedding for my good friend Chris and his new bride. It was a bonus
that Chris (the groom) has been a close friend of mine for the last 10 years and so has the rest of his family. So I was lucky that
all of the groomsmen were very close friends of mine as well, including my wonderful fiance, Matt 🙂
So I think it pretty much goes without saying that I had a blast shooting this wedding. It made it possible for me to work and
feel like I was spending the weekend hanging out with friends and family at the same time.
Like I said before, these guys are all basically family to me and one of them I am engaged to, ha! So it’s not an unusual occurrence
for things to get a little crazy when we all get together. It was really easy for this whole picture taking process to go into goofball mode.
The fun, goofy shots often end up being some of my favorite images from the wedding. I want my clients to have fun with during their
photographs and I have always believed that it should add to the story of your wedding day and never feel like a chore. It has become
a priority of mine as a photographer to shoot weddings my way and keep it fun and do it in style.. I think this next photo is a good example.
And who doesn’t always love a good butt shot 😉
