I have a love affair with my job, I am emotionally attached to everything I do, I don't want to just take pictures, I want to make noise, your moments are my moments. I have Detroit roots. Strong ones. I was born in Detroit and the love and pride I have for the Motor City is unbreakable. I'm an only child and family and friends are everything to me. I'm a loud laugher and an easy cryer, I feel everything. I'm sensitive, I'm stubborn, and I'm insanely passionate. I am music obsessed and a major animal lover. I am clumsy and I'm always missing one sock. I believe the toilet paper should be over not under. Sorry if this is a deal breaker. I have my mother's eyes and my father's intuition. I was bred from the two best people to ever walk the earth. I'm afraid of the dark and I could live in a good pair of combat boots. I'm a hopeless romantic. I am always competing with myself. Rachel and Ross were NOT ON A BREAK! I'm on team Rachel, for sure!
My mom. She's the greatest human I've ever known. I'm lucky to have her as my role model and even luckier to call her my best friend.
I am a hockey chick, through and through. The Detroit Red Wings are my favorite team in all of history. I will forever be a die hard wings fan.
Ask anyone close to me what the "Rachel uniform" is, they'll undoubtedly tell you that it's a leather jacket and boots. Oh, and always black on black on black.
I am the proudest mama to the greatest little wolf that has ever walked this Earth. Valkyrie, my black sable warrior princess, she's the best decision I've ever made.

I do what I do to tell a story. Whether it's your wedding, your senior portraits, your family, or even your products or commercial property. I photograph with intention, to represent what's important to you in the most authentic light. I aim to capture the raw moments that take you back in time. If it's people in front of my camera I make sure that I am creating photographs that show who you are, not just what you look like. My work is editorial, photojournalistic, and full of life. I love movement and laughter. I love artistic lines and vibrant color.
